Cilla Hamill

Cilla Hamill is a retired chemist from Eli Lilly and Company. She raised two children with a variety of individualized needs, familiarizing her with our social service system and the challenges of navigating it. She is a gifted tutor, lending creativity to the lessons she prepares for children - such as bringing a pizza and an apple pie to discuss fractions while enjoying a snack together with the family she is supporting.

Because of her deep STEM background she is comfortable tutoring children in middle grades and high school in advanced math and science topics, a huge gift to our team. Cilla also tutors children at Brightlane, devoting significant amounts of time to serving others. She will dive right into any challenge a family faces…legal questions, health-related questions, job search questions, and more.

Cilla resides in Carmel. When she’s not volunteering, she loves cycling on the Monon and walking in Central Park.
